Representative Sport

ANU avidly supports student involvement in University Representative Sport.

ANU students are eligible to represent the university at tertiary level at State, National and World Games or Championships.

The main University Sport event in 2008 will be the Australian University Games (AUGs). There will also be numerous championship events throughout the year.

University Sport is a great way to become more involved in sport at ANU. It’s all about taking a break from the stresses of uni, meeting new people and competing in a sport that you love.

Most of the sports played at the University Games have a tryout period run by the appropriate ANU club, prior to the games. Information on these tryout sessions can be found on the club notice boards in the ANU Sport and Rec Centre.

For more information on the Australian University Games, keep an eye out here.

To become involved in University Sport in 2008, contact the appropriate club or contact us on 6125 8381 or at sport@anu.edu.au.
