The ANUSRA runs a friendly and informal lunchtime sport competition 5 days a week between 12 & 2pm.

With a different sport each day, there’s plenty of opportunity to get involved! What a great way to meet new people, take a break from uni or work and keep active! Participate in a sport you already play or try something new!

Monday - Mixed Ultimate Disc

Enrolment Information

Please enrol for these sports ASAP, as spots are limited. Enrolment Start Monday 16 February

Cut-Offs for enrolments are Thursday February 26 at 5pm.

How To Enroll

Download Enrolment Form

  • Download the Enrolment Form (or pick one up from the Sport & Rec Centre).
  • Complete the application form and hand it in to Alex in the administration office (Hours: 9am-5pm).
    Team entry will be $130 per team for Indoor Soccer and Touch, $100 Volleyball and Ultimate and $40 for Doubles Badminton.
  • There is an additional charge of $5 per person for individuals who are not ANU Students or SRA Members.
  • A $20 deposit will be levied on all teams to ensure all duties and games are met throughout the competition. This should be paid at the time of enrolment.
  • The $20 deposit will be refunded on completion of the competition as long as all your team commitments are met.
    To retrieve your deposit after the competition, please speak to Katie in the Administration Office.


Lunchtime Sport Hall of Fame

Congratulations to all our Lunchtime Sport Champions over the years!

To pay special tribute to the success of these teams, we have recently created a Lunchtime Sport Hall of Fame in the corridor leading to the New Hall. So next time you’re at the centre, check it out!

A perpetual trophy will be awarded to all winning teams. All trophies are displayed at the ANU Sport & Recreation Association. Team photos will be displayed in the Lunchtime Sport Hall of Fame!

Mixed Ultimate Disc

General Information

  • Mixed Ultimate Disc is played Outdoors at Willows Oval.
  • 6 players make a team with unlimited reserves
  • Maximum of 4 males on the court at one time
  • Maximum of 12 teams can be enrolled
  • Played Mondays between 12 - 2pm
  • No games on Public Holidays or during Mid Semester Break
  • Should a team be unable to complete their match commitments then they must contact the opposing team and ANUSRA (6125 8383) 24 hours in advance or forfeit their deposit.

 

Mixed Volleyball

General Information

  • Mixed Volleyball is played in the New Sports Hall at the Sport & Rec Centre on North Rd.
  • 6 players and up to 6 reserves
  • Minimum 1 female on the court at any time
  • Maximum of 18 teams can be enrolled
  • Played Tuesdays between 12 - 2pm
  • No games Mid Semester Break
  • Teams will play for both a Competition & Social trophy
  • Should a team be unable to complete their match commitments then they must contact the opposing team and ANUSRA (6125 8383) 24 hours in advance or forfeit their deposit

 

Indoor Soccer

General Information

  • Indoor Soccer is played in the New Sports Hall at the Sport & Recreation Centre on North Road.
  • 5 players and up to 5 reserves
  • Maximum of 13 teams can be enrolled
  • Played Wednesdays between 12 - 2pm
  • No games Mid Semester Break
  • All teams will be called upon to complete refereeing duty throughout the season. Duty involves supplying 2 refs for the allocated game time. Please take note of duty requirements on the draw.
  • Should a team be unable to complete their match or duty commitments then they must contact the opposing team and ANUSRA (6125 8383) 24 hours in advance or forfeit their deposit

 

Mixed Touch Football

General Information

  • Mixed Touch Football will be played on South Oval.
  • 6 players and up to 6 reserves
  • Each team must have one female player on the field at any one time
  • Teams may be called on to do refereeing duty if required during the competition
  • Played Thursdays between 12 - 2pm
  • No games Mid Semester Break
  • Should a team be unable to complete their match commitments then they must contact the opposing team and ANUSRA (6125 8383) 24 hours in advance or forfeit their deposit

 

Doubles Badminton

General Information

  • Doubles Badmiton will be played in the new sports hall.
  • Maximum of 16 teams can be enrolled
  • Refereeing is based on an honour system
  • Played Fridays between 12 - 2pm
  • No games Mid Semester Break
  • Should a team be unable to complete their match commitments then they must contact the opposing team and ANUSRA (6125 8383) 24 hours in advance or forfeit their deposit
