Taught by one of Canberra’s most motivational and experienced fitness instructors (JoJo Azurin), the class includes cardiovascular conditioning (heart and lung fitness / burn excess fat), stretching, functional strength, balance and core stability, postural enhancement, coordination, agility, speed and power – all in one fun-filled session! Relaxation techniques and mind/body harmony are reinforced in all classes. Fitballs will also be used for core conditioning. All levels of fitness and experience welcome.

TAIGALATES

With concepts and principles borrowed from Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates, Body Art will help to improve your overall wellbeing. Focus on your breathing, posture, balance, coordination, flexibility, strength and awareness. A fun and uplifting class suitable for all.

BASIC TRAINING EARLY MORNING CARDIO
Includes continuous bouts of huffy puffy exercise to get your heart rate up (but not too high!) to promote optimal heart and lung fitness… not to mention burn up excess body fat stores. Low impact options will be given and complexity kept to a minimum.

BASIC TRAINING EARLY MORNING INTERVALS
A variety of exercises will be set out in the popular circuit format where each station is performed for a recommended period of time (usually 30-90 seconds). The session is balanced and carefully tuned to give you a total-body workout complete with warm-up and recovery phases.

BASIC TRAINING EARLY MORNING STRETCH
Includes stretching and strengthening exercises that may be found in Yoga, Pilates and general stretching programs. It is a great way to obtain and maintain optimal flexibility. A must for everyone at any level.

CIRCUIT CLASSES

Circuit training classes combine weight training exercises with aerobic conditioning to give you an efficient and effective workout in a short period of time. These classes are not strength training classes, but are aimed at improving cardiovascular condition and muscle tone. Individuals set their own pace and classes include warm up, recovery and cool down. A circuit class involves individually rotating through a number of exercise stations. Classes run for 45 minutes and are a great lunchtime or after uni work out! Our classes are fully supervised by accredited instructors.

A.B.T.
