Student filesRecords of students' application and enrolment history are maintained by the Student Records section within SAS. When a prospective student applies to the University, an application folder is created to hold the application details. This folder is passed between the relevant areas considering the application and is returned to Student Records once a decision on admission is made. Progress of an application is recorded on S21. Folders of applicants who are not offered admission are destroyed after two years, in keeping with the University's policy on record management. Students who are offered a place have their full application and enrolment history stored on an official student file. The history and movement of a file is recorded on the web based Central Records System (CRS). To request a student's file or an applicant's folder, contact the Student Records Officer by telephone on 6125 2282 (internal extension 52282). For access to the Central Records System (CRS), you will need to apply using the form at http://www.anu.edu.au/records/recordsforms.php.
