The SEAP Guide provides information about:
- how and when to register/change enrolment
- important administrative policies/procedures
- administrative and financial deadlines
- penalties for non-compliance with deadlines
- how and where to get advice
- University affiliated bodies
The SEAP Guide expands on the SEAP Quick Reference Guide which is published in hardcopy annually.
The information in the SEAP Guide supplements the information in the Undergraduate Handbook as well as other University publications and websites.
While University staff will give you assistance wherever possible, it is a student's responsibility to ensure that his/her enrolment is correct at all times and to adhere to the administrative procedures and policies outlined in this Guide and on the websites.
It is also a student's responsibility to ensure the University has his/her current mailing address and contact details at all times. Claimed ignorance or misunderstanding of a procedure, or non-receipt of mail because of an incorrect address, will not be sufficient reason for avoiding the consequences that may have serious academic, financial or administrative repercussions for you.
The University will contact you via your Student Email Account. You are required to check this account regularly, at least twice per week.
The information in the SEAP Guide is relevant to all Undergraduate and Graduate coursework students.
Re-enrolling students must enter their Semester 1 and 2 courses on ISIS by

Appeal against Administrative Decisions
The administrative procedures set out in this SEAP Guide, such as closing dates, late fees, and refund policies, have been approved by the relevant University authority and will be strictly observed. If you consider there are extraordinary circumstances that may exempt you from the application of a particular procedure or fee, you should discuss this with relevant Student Administration Services (SAS) or College staff. Any further appeal must be made to the Registrar.
All appeals to the Registrar must be in writing and include any relevant documentation. If you believe you should be exempt from payment of a late fee you should pay the fee and appeal to have it refunded, as non-payment of the fee in the first instance may prevent processing of other documents related to your enrolment.
Appeals against decisions made in accordance with the provisions of a University Rule must follow the appeal procedure set out in that Rule.
