Graduation

Delayed Results

Due to the very tight timeframe between release of results and the conferring ceremonies, only those whose assessment is finalised and recorded in the Student System at the time of formal release of semester results will be able to have their awards conferred at the graduation ceremonies for that semester.

Those who will not be able to graduate immediately following completion of their studies will include students:

  • whose results, including honours, are late, e.g. deferred assessment, supplementary examinations or unforeseen circumstances which have delayed the marking of your assessment;
  • who wish to graduate from an award for which they are not currently enrolled;
  • who have outstanding exchange or cross-institutional results still to be credited to their program;
  • who have withdrawn from courses after 31 March 2012/31 August 2012 and have not completed their program.
  • who have an outstanding debt to the University.

These students may graduate at the ceremonies in the following semester if all requirements have been satisfactorily completed.
