Graduation

Application for Conferring

Students who satisfy the requirements of their program in Semester 1 are identified for the July graduation session, and students who satisfy the requirements of their program in Semester 2 are identified for the December graduation session.

Most students will be automatically identified and assessed by the academic area and don't need to apply.

Exceptions:

• those who are completing all final courses for their award at another institution as a cross-institutional or Exchange student;
• students who satisfied the requirements of their program prior to Semester 2 2010 and who wish to have their award conferred at the July 2011 graduation session, and students who satisfied the requirements of their program prior to Spring Session 2011 and who wish to be conferred at the December 2011 graduation session;
• students in a combined program who wish to confer only one of the awards in that program;
• students who have applied to have credit transferred to their current program.

Students who must lodge an application must do so by the closing date to be included as potential graduands.

12 & 13 July 2012	Spring Session 2011, Summer Session 2012 or Semester 1 2012	31 March 2012
12, 13 & 14 December 2012	Autumn session 2012, Winter Session 2012 or Semester 2 2012	31 August 2012
