5. Examinations & Assessment

5.1 Assessment of Coursework Courses

The assessment system for each course will be made available in writing to students by no later than the first week of the semester/session in which it is being offered. The statement should provide details of all assessment items, including the dates and the procedures used in determining the final grade.

The lecturer will discuss and explain the assessment system to students in classes during the first two weeks.

The lecturer is ultimately responsible for determining the assessment method in the course.
