2. Enrolment
2.8 Courses that Require Permission
Students can freely add most courses to their enrolment using ISIS provided that the courses fall within the rules of their degree/program. However, permission is sometimes required to enrol in specific courses. This could be for one of the following reasons:
- Course quota limiting the number of enrolled students
- Formal pre-requisites for the course have not been met
- Level of course requires confirmation (e.g. language and music courses)
- Course has multiple topics, and the topic needs to be specified
If permission is needed to enrol in a course, see your College Office/Academic Area to get a permission number. If you are granted a permission number, the number can be entered into ISIS against the enrolment request and you will be able to enrol. If you continue to have difficulties enrolling, contact the Enrolments Office for help.
