ANU National Merit Scholarship

Student Fees and Scholarships Office

Value:
$6,500 per year

Duration:
4 years (maximum)
Payments of $3,250 at the beginning of each semester.

Application:
No application is required. All eligible applicants to ANU will be automatically considered.

Selection based on:
An ATAR score between 99.50 to 99.85 or equivalent (no bonus points).

Number on offer:
All eligible students who obtain the required ATAR or equivalent score will be made an offer (no bonus points).

Eligibility:

Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or Permanent Humantarian Visa,

Be studying an Australian Year 12 or New Zealand NCEA or International Baccalaureate in 2009,

Completed Year 12 or equivalent in 2009 and did not enrol in a tertiary program in 2010,

Have put at least one ANU program as a preference when applying for admission through the Universities Admissions Centre (NSW & ACT).

You do not need to:

Have ANU as first preference

Restrict your program choice

Be interviewed for scholarship selection
