Eligibility:
The Emerging Artist Support Scheme (EASS) aims to support artists who have recently completed their education at the School through acquisition and loan arrangements, prizes, awards and commissions which are awarded at the end of each academic year and the postgraduate season held in February/March. A proportion of EASS patrons's contributions are levied to create a number of Honours and Graduate Scholarships each year.
Applicants must:
Have an outstanding academic record in Art;
Have demonstrated a high capacity for achievement in his or her chosen field of Visual Arts practice; and
Be eligible for enrolment at the ANU in the Honours year of the program for the degree of Bachelor of Arts (Visual) with Honours or the Bachelor of Visual Arts with Honours.
Selection based on:
Merit of the Honours application;
Recommendation of the relevant Head of Workshop;
Applicant’s academic record; and
The presentation at the end of semester six exhibition, or equivalent folio documentation.
