The Careers Centre at the ANU can help you find part-time or casual work during your studies, through to helping with planning your career and finding a job. The Centre has a wide range of career and employment services and resources for ANU students, recent graduates and University faculties and schools. Services include:

  • online part-time and casual employment noticeboard
  • graduate vacancies listings
  • work experience and internships information
  • careers fairs (Tertiary to Work, and Law)
  • confidential career counselling for individuals
  • job search, job application and interview skills workshops
  • careers guidance (computer-based)
  • careers seminars
  • careers resource centre
  • Employer Visits Program (EVP) and Campus Interview Program offering facilities for prospective employers to interview at the ANU campus
  • law graduate and summer clerkship recruitment program

It is a good idea to visit the Careers Centre early on in your studies - the Centre can give you advice on the career implications of your study choices. Students approaching their final year of studies should also be aware that may employers start their graduate recruitment processes in March/April of the year before they want the new staff to commence.
