Responses to Invitation to participate in the July 2009 Conferral have now closed.

If you believe you should be graduating and have either not received an invitation or have not yet responded to your invitation, please contact the Examinations and Graduations Office immediately.

Please Note; only students with an inactive university email address or those expecting to confer a PhD will receive a hard copy invitation via post.

Please refer here for information on the Examination and Graduation contingencies in place due to H1N1 (swine flu). This document will be updated as the situation evolves.

 

Congratulations on your upcoming graduation. The information on these pages is provided to assist ANU students who have either already completed or who expect to complete their academic program in time for the July 2009 conferral of award ceremonies.

The July 2009 ceremonies will be held on Thursday 16 and Friday 17 July .

Here is what you need to know in order to graduate:

- 16 and 17 July Extra Guest invitations. Enter the ballot here. This ballot will open once potential graduands receive their invitations.

- Graduates can continue their relationship with ANU - as a member of the Alumni community! Membership is automatic and entitles graduates to various great benefits and services such as invitations to national and international events, career assistance, ongoing email address and much more!

Important dates for your diary

January - March 31 2009 Complete and submit an application form if necessary
18 - 22 May 2009 Check your student email account for your Invitation to Graduate. If your ISIS account is inactive, your invitation will be posted to your mailing address by the 29th May.
by 19 June 2009 Respond to the invitation by the due date. You must do this whether you are attending the ceremony or not.
by 19 June 2009 Pay all outstanding debts to the University.
by 19 June 2009 Complete and return the gown hire form to the ANU Union Office.
Midday 6 July Check final graduation eligibility on ISIS. If you believe your status is incorrect, you must contact your academic area immediately.
