ANU - Fees

All invoices will be available in ISIS to view or download. An email will be sent to your student email account when your invoice has been published. It is your responsibility to ensure that any external email address linked to your student email account is active at all times. Please check your student account on a regular basis as this is the way the university will correspond with you.

2009 Fee Due Dates

Tuition fees (including Domestic Tuition Fees (DTF), International Students Fees (ISF), and up-front partial or full HECS-HELP)

First Semester	13 March
Second Semester	7 August
Summer Session	See invoice for due date
Autumn Session	See invoice for due date
Winter Session	See invoice for due date
Spring Session	See invoice for due date

Up-front partial Student Contribution payments will not be accepted after the due date.

Course Census Dates 2009

First Semester	31 March 2009
Second Semester	31 August 2009
Non-Standard Sessions (Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring)	check the following website for individual courses http://studyat.anu.edu.au

Financial and academic penalties may apply if a student withdraws after the Census Date of each class.

Tuition fees

Tuition fees are charged to all students, however the level of the fee and whether deferral or government loans are available depends on the student's citizenship, residency status, unit load, year of commencement and the level of the program enrolled in (undergraduate/graduate/non-award.) All undergraduate and non-FEE-HELP graduate students are able to view or download their invoice from ISIS. An email will be sent to your student email account when your invoice has been published.

The Australian government website www.goingtouni.gov.au has further details on the fee types and also allows you to check on your student assistance record so that you can monitor your loans balance, your entitlement balance, your scholarships record (if applicable) and the courses for which you have incurred a HELP debt.

Refunds

Under certain circumstances you may be eligible for a full or partial refund of your fees - for example, if you withdraw before the census date. To find out if you are eligible, please check the relevant policy:

To apply for a refund, please complete an Application for Fee Refund and return it to the Registrar & Student Services in the Pauline Griffin Building (Building 11), or fax to The Fees Office on 02 6125 7535.

Cashier Opening Hours

The Cashier is open from 9:00am to 4:30pm weekdays (not including public holidays).
