Changing
Your Enrolment
Are you an International student?
If you are an International student, please make sure that you
contact the Office of Policy and Regulation at policy.regs@anu.edu.au or 02 6125 1436 to arrange an appointment to discuss the implications
to your visa when making the following changes:
- Reducing your study load
- Changing Program
- Withdrawing from your program
- Requesting Program Leave
Withdrawing entirely from a program (degree)
To withdraw entirely from your program,
you must submit an Application for Program Leave/Withdrawal to the Program/Delegated Authority in your College Student Office or academic area. Your withdrawal should be
acknowledged by the University within 28 days of receiving your
application. If you have not received acknowledgement of your withdrawal within
that time, you must contact your College Student
Office or academic area immediately as there may be financial consequences.
Once your application for withdrawal has been acknowledged you have forfeited your place in the program. If you wish to return to your program, or another program, you will be required to apply to the University via the appropriate method for that program. Furthermore, your application will be assessed against the current entry criteria and any other applications then current.
If you stop attending classes but don't notify the University
that you wish to withdraw, you will still be considered as
an enrolled student and will be charged fees and receive a fail
results.
Withdrawal will be effective the date the application is received, or the start of the Semester/Session indicated on the form, whichever is latest.
Note: It is not possible to withdraw from all of your enrolled courses
through ISIS.
