you of the outcome of your application to transfer. If you are
offered a place in the new program but don't wish to take it,
please advise the Enrolments Office in writing immediately.
Note: notification of the result of your application to transfer will not normally be emailed until approximately two weeks prior to the commencement of the semester/session your transfer is to be effective.
-
Check on ISIS that your old program is inactive and your new
program is active. If your record is not correct, contact the
Enrolments Office immediately.
-
Enrol in courses via ISIS, as per standard enrolment procedures,
fee payment requirements and deadlines.
-
If you wish, you can apply for credit for any studies you have
already completed.
-
Lodge a Request for a Change to Electronic Confirmation of
Enrolment form, signed by your College/Faculty, with the Office of Policy and Regulation (OPAR) - International Students only.
- Complete the relevant eCAF (Commonwealth Assistance Form) (if eligible).
- Sponsored students will need to fill in a new Notification of Sponsorship Form and seek approval for the transfer from your sponsor.
Please note that when transferring programs, you will be liable
for the rate of tuition fees/HECS for the year of your transfer.
In many cases this will mean an increase of HECS/fees.
Changing Specialisations
Changes of specialisation, e.g. Master of Arts (Art History) to Master of Arts (History), are not program transfers and therefore are not subject to the same deadlines and penalties as program transfers. To change specialisations, speak to your College Student Office.
