Changing Your EnrolmentProgram Leave (suspending your studies)Approved Program Leave (suspension of studies) ensures that your place in your program is reserved so that you may continue your studies at the end of your approved period of leave. Program Leave is usually only granted to students who have completed at least one course and is usually restricted to a maximum of one year in the first instance. Program Leave is counted as part of the time you take to complete your program. If you have enrolled and wish to drop all your courses before the census date, you can apply for Program Leave. To apply for Program Leave, you must apply online prior to the semester/session in which you which to start your leave. At the end of your leave period, you will need to re-enrol following the usual requirements for continuing students. Applications for leave received after the relevant census date will be processed as requests to drop courses after census date. Relevant financial and academic penalties will apply. Click here for information on dropping courses after census date.
