Policies and procedures

The following policy and procedure describe the standards which underpin the University's introduction, modification, review and disestablishment of academic programs, as well as the University's requirements regarding the preparation, submission and consideration of requests to establish, modify or disestablish coursework programs, and the roles of key stakeholders and committees involved in the processing of proposals.

Forms and templates

Please note: For coursework programs, the 'New Program' and 'Program Amendment' forms available through Study@ANU have been replaced by the forms provided below. Proposals relating to coursework programs submitted to University Education Committee on the forms available through Study@ANU will no longer be accepted. The 'New Program' and 'Program Amendment' forms available through Study@ANU may still be used for proposals related to HDR programs.

Refer to individual Colleges for procedures and deadlines for developing expressions of interest and proposals for the introduction, modification, review and disestablishment of academic programs and plans.

Please forward all completed forms to course.registry@anu.edu.au after they have been considered by the relevant College Education Committee(s). Forms should not be sent directly to University Education Committee.
