More chances for entry to ANU!
Sometimes capable students miss out on a place at ANU because
their entrance rank* is not what they expected.
So, as a way to provide greater access and equity, ANU is offering
an extra way into many undergraduate degrees through uniTEST, a
test of aptitude for university study. You can view sample questions
at http://unitest.acer.edu.au/
If you are expecting to receive an ATAR of 65 or above you may register to sit for UniTest. Please note that for your UniTest result to be considered for admission to ANU your actual ATAR must be 70 or over. You will not be notified separately by ANU in relation to your eligibility for admission based on your UniTest result– this will be done in the normal UAC Main Round.
The test will be held on Tuesday 1 December 2009 at 10AM.
Registrations
for the test were open between 1 October and 13 November 2009. Late registrations are not possible.
Applicants who registered to sit the test have all been sent an e-mail notifying them if they are permitted to sit the test or not, but we have had some 'bounce backs'. If you have NOT received such an e-mail, please send an e-mail to unitest@anu.edu.au and we will resend it to you.
ANU also offers an Associate Degree program with ANU College
that provides an alternative entry point for ANU undergraduate
degrees. For more information please see www.anucollege.com.au.
If you would like further information on either of these entry
schemes, please contact the Admissions Office on (02) 6125 5594
or email unitest@anu.edu.au
*For school-leavers, the Entrance Rank is the same as their ATAR (or interstate equivalent). Applicants, including mature age applicants, with other acceptable qualifications are assigned an Entrance Rank depending on their performance in these qualifications.
