Many research management
staff including some Research Office staff will be in The ARC College of Experts met
last week to determine its recommendations for the funding allocations for
2009 Discovery funding. It will be a while yet before we know
the results of those deliberations although all of the applicants will
be eagerly awaiting the outcomes. We have now been using the ARIES
Grants and Contracts module for some years. OSR and ORMD have begun a
process of specifying changes to the module. While many changes have
been recommended over the last few years, please continue to identify
changes to the module that would make your work more efficient and if
you are keen please volunteer to join the Working Party to oversee the
changes. The ARC has now released
guidelines for an ERA pilot of their data systems. The ANU has yet to
decide whether or not it will participate. |
