HERDC Publications for 2008 – Closing soon!

The Higher Education Research Data Collection (HERDC) comprises research income and research publications data submitted by Australian universities each year.

Research books, chapters, journal articles and conference papers, published during 2008 and written by ANU staff, visitors or students, are annually reported by us to DIISR.

The ANU return is due on 30 June 2009, and work is well in hand to report the eligible publications.  Departmental Administrators around the ANU have been collecting and data-entering them, for checking by staff in the Research Office.  It is vital that all eligible publications are put forward to obtain HERDC funding.

If you have published research during 2008, please be sure that your Departmental Administrator knows about it so that all your eligible publications are reported.  Data entry must be completed before the end of May.  Any queries can be made to:

Margaret Richardson, X57947   margaret.richardson@anu.edu.au   or

Jenny Taylor,              X51455   jenny.taylor@anu.edu.au
