LUNCHTIME SEMINAR SERIES

Topic: Protect or Perish?

The fundamental decision point in commercialisation is whether to protect or publish your research. This is often the most difficult decision to take, as at the point of invention your picture of what your discovery means, who might be interested, and what is already out there will not always be clear.

This seminar will draw from discipline specific examples in providing tips on how to identify if your research is patentable, and what you should consider in following the protection vs the publishing path.

Physical Sciences
Time & Date:  Wednesday, 12:30pm-1:30pm, 5 December
Presented by Scott Berggren, Principal - Electrical Team, Spruson & Ferguson Patent Attorneys

Seminar Venue: Innovations Lecture Theatre, Innovations Building, Cnr Garran and Eggleston Roads

RSVP: commercialisation@anu.edu.au by 3 December (Physical Sciences)
