Welcome to the last
issue of the With 2007 drawing to a
close, I would like to thank all ANU staff involved in research management
for their hard work and dedication during 2007. Research management staff make a vital contribution to the ANU and are
becoming increasingly important as the ANU becomes more reliant on external
research funding. The support provided by research management staff to
researchers in the pursuit and management of research funding plays a key
role in enabling the ANU to maintain its position as a leading world research
university and in maintaining our reputation for undertaking research of the
highest quality while following the highest ethical standards in the practice
of research. Their support to individual ANU researchers is vital in
ensuring that those researchers achieve their full potential. I wish you all an
enjoyable break and come back refreshed to face the challenges of 2008. |
