Frequently Asked Questions

General Questions

Certification / Delegation Issues

Who should sign the certification pages of applications and reports?
As of 10th January 2007, Deans/Directors were nominated and authorised by the DVC to sign off on ARC/NHMRC reports and applications from Colleges/Local Areas.

What if the application/report belongs to the Dean/Director?
If Deans/Directors are unable to sign the certification pages, they can request the Director of the Research Office to sign as the delegate. In order to for the Director to sign off a covering memo is required along with the application/report outlining the reason for such a request.

ARC Reporting - APAI Final Reports

Is there a dedicated Final Report form for an APAI?

There is no dedicated final report form for the Linkage Project APAI. Once the ARC funds have been spent, a final report for the project will have to be completed and submitted by the 1st-named Chief Investigator in GAMS. The final report includes a section in which the progress and the outcomes contributed by the APAI have to be demonstrated/explained.
