Office of Research Integrity

Research Integrity is far more than just the servicing of university research ethics committees. It also covers issues of academic conduct, privacy, and public perception of ANU’s research integrity. The ANU enjoys a good reputation for the effectiveness of its research ethics processes, supporting its standing as the National University. Arguably the greatest threat to ANU’s academic standing would be any event that calls into question the integrity of ANU’s research activities.

The Office of Research Integrity was created to provide a sharper focus on, and tighter management of, ANU’s research ethics and related matters. It is administered by the Research Office, and reports to the DVC and the PVC (Research).
