Room Features

Each room has many features that will be explained to members on arrival. What follows is a basic description of the facilities in each room:

Kitchen facilities - Oven and stove tops with kitchen exhaust fan and a refrigerator and food storage cupboards. Residents are required to provide their own cooking and eating utensils.

Electric room heater - A charge is made for electricity use.

Bedding - bedding provided includes a pillow, a doona with cover and a mattress cover. Residents are required to provide their own linen (sheets, pillow case and blankets).

Private bathroom and toilet facilities

Telephone - Residents can call anywhere within the university and make local, interstate and international calls. Calls within the university are free. Calls other than within the university (local, interstate & overseas) are charged to the residents' account.

Computer port providing access to the university computer system, i.e. the library, Internet and other computer services. Charges are made for the internet services.

Wireless Internet access is available throughout most of Graduate House when using a valid ANU department login and password.

Desk providing easy access to power, computer and telephone ports.
