Resident Representation

Residential Scholars are selected via a competitive process. A Graduate House Residential Scholarship may only be offered to residents of Graduate House enrolled in an ANU academic program. Residential Scholars will have volunteered and been selected to undertake activities that contribute to the enhancement of community life at Graduate House.

The Student Representative Committee is composed of up to four members elected by and from the residents of Graduate House. Elections to the Committee take place annually. The principal roles of the Committee are to act as a welcoming party to new residents, as a sounding board for the interest and concerns of residents, and to bring forward issues and ideas to the House Advisory Committee.

The Social Committee is made-up of resident volunteers who coordinate social events in the House. A treasurer is selected by and from resident volunteers will all members of the Committee responsible for expenditure from the Common Room fund.
