This bibliography supplements that in Rick Kuhn 'Marxist political economy in Australia since the mid 1970s' Journal of Australian Political Economy 50, 2002. Marxist political economy is defined here as economic analysis informed by an understanding of Marxism as the theory and practice of working class self-emancipation and, where appropriate, by Marx's labour theory of value. Marxist studies primarily devoted to historical, cultural and political topics or focussed on countries other than Australia are not included. A further major weakness is that the bibliography neglects work published only in newspapers and magazines.
If you have suggestions for further items that should be included in this bibliography please send the full reference and preferably the full to text to Rick.Kuhn@anu.edu.au or Rick Kuhn, School of Social Sciences, Faculty of Arts, ANU ACT 0200, Australia.
At a later stage, I hope to mount the bibliography at this web address as a searchable XML database.
