Copyright in the works on the web-site at http://www.anu.edu.au/people/Roger.Clarke/ is owned by Roger Clarke's company, Xamax Consultancy Pty Ltd.

There are three ways in which you can obtain a licence to copy works on this site.

(1) Educational Uses

If:

• the work carries the mark ; AND

• you want to use and copy the work in the context of a structured program of learning and/or teaching;

then you and your organisation automatically have a licence to use and copy the work. All that you need to do is to carry the FfE mark forward with copies that you make, so that everyone knows you have that licence. See the home-page of the owner of the FfE mark for further details.

If the work does not carry the FfE mark, then you need to look at the other two possibilities below.

(2) Reproduction for Non-Commercial Use

The materials may be reproduced for distribution to others, provided that the copying and distribution is free of charge, and subject to the following conditions:

• the material is to be reproduced in its entirety, including reference to this copyright notice, at http://www.anu.edu.au/people/Roger.Clarke/CNotice.html;
• appropriate attribution is to be provided;
• the work is not to be presented in such a manner that it could be inferred to be that of some person other than the author; and
• the work is not to be presented in such a manner that it could be inferred to be the property of some person or organisation other than this company.

No adaptation is permitted. No sub-licensing is permitted.

(3) Commercial Use

In order to use these materials for profit, or to adpat them, you must gain formal approval from this company in writing, by application to Xamax. Such licences may be subject to the payment of a licence fee, and will generally also be subject to the conditions listed in (2) above.

Statement as to What These Works Are and Are Not
