Safety on Campus - Tips to help you stay safe
· Program our Security Services Team emergency number into your mobile phone. (6125 2249)
· Register your details with our team and request our Security Escort Service if you plan to work or study alone after hours.
· Park only in well-lit areas close to your work.
· Where possible, move around the campus in pairs or groups at night, and stick to the well-lit popular walkways. Don't be tempted to take short cuts.
· Have your keys ready to enter your home or car.
· Don't be distracted by your mobile phone or other portable devices when walking around campus.
· Report any suspicious behaviour on campus to our Security Services team, no matter how minor it may appear. Prompt reporting of incidents helps prevent recurrences.
