I am enjoying the rain - good for the vineyard after all the hot weather - and am getting to know my new surrounds in the Chancelry.
I am, of course, getting to meet lots of new people, and I give my thanks to all the people who have helped make me feel very welcome in my new role.
Over the past few days I have been out and about meeting lots of people, and some new students for 2016. I have also done a number of media interviews. You can see the media stories here:

Over the coming months I will be making my way around campus to try and meet as many staff and students as I can. We will have the opportunity to talk about what we want the ANU to be, and I'm really looking forward to hearing everyone's views. These discussions will form the basis of a strategic plan for the University which will help me help you make the University an even better place to work and study. I look forward to seeing you!
