Did you know the ANU has an on campus school holiday program?

With many families juggling child care and work commitments, the ANU school holiday program offers staff and students a convenient (and fun) option to help with childcare arrangements.

The School Holiday Program has recently been improved to create an even more active and educational program for the children. The program is run by Camp Australia at the North Oval Pavilion and has had up to 60 children of ANU staff and students attend.

This October school holidays the children will be doing both incursions and excursions, flying kites, visiting Questacon and taking a trip to the movies.

Camp Australia’s Andrew Kent said the school holiday service offers great value and convenience for busy working parents, and fun, social interaction and education for kids.

“All Camp Australia programs are eligible for the Childcare Rebate and Childcare Benefit which reduces the cost by 50 percent or more for most families,” he said.

“At an average cost of around $3 per hour per child, it’s incredible value for money while kids get to enjoy a range of fun and educational activities".
