Christina Sonnemann
Equally at home playing the music of Carolan, Fauré or Robert Maxwell, Christina is one of a new generation of harpists who find inspiration in diversity.
One of Tasmania's best-known performers, Christina maintains a busy performing and teaching schedule. Since last year's appearance at the Stamford Harp Festival, England, she is increasingly occupied internationally. She will perform the Handel Harp Concerto in the US and concerts in England, Ireland and Jersey are planned.
Her CD, The Girl with the Flaxen Hair, features her own voice/harp arrangements. The Harp Society of Tasmania was formed through her efforts and she serves as President and Editor. Christina has studied harp with Michael Jefferies and Jill Atkinson.

Andy Rigby
Andy Rigby is one of Australia’s leading makers, players and teachers of the folk harp. Based is Central Victoria, Andy has pioneered the “Paraceltic” style of harp on which he plays Celtic, Latin American and a variety of other styles of music, as well as a variety of lap harps, including a brass strung copy of the ancient Gaelic harp.
Andy has been playing the folk harp for twenty years and has absorbed music from many folk cultures around his original home in Melbourne, and abroad. His most recent associations are with the trio Blackwood, Moving Harps, Bob Ballantine, Martin Tucker, Riley Lee and Gillian Alcock. Andy plays a variety of other instruments and onducts school and community workshops in making and playing marimbas and flutes.

Diane Peters
Diane has a BA (Jazz/Improvisation) at Victorian College of the Arts '96-'98 (harp). Harp studies include Lydia Shaxson, Rosemary St John, Huw Jones, Marshall McGuire, Park Stickney (Jazz harpist) NewYork,2000. Projects include "The Aprils" A Harp and Flute duo with Mia Salsjo, playing a Classical, Jazz and Brazilian Choro repertoire. Jazz group "Archaeopteryx" with CD of Peters' original JAZZ compositions.
International performances in Perugia, ITALY 98,- "Tonic" improvisation club in New York 2000.-"Journey de Les Harpes" music festival, Arles, FRANCE 2000. 5th European Harp Symposium, Amsterdam, HOLLAND 2001, with 5-piece original Jazz group Archaeopteryx. Diane continues to take the harp to new places including new sound duo with electronic artist David Franzke.

Victor Valdes
Victor Valdes is a professional musician, singer and dancer. As a solo harpist he has given concerts in over 25 countries of 4 continents around the world.
He was a member of the best and highly acclaimed Mexican Folk group of Veracruz Mexico, 'Tlen Huicani' for ten years, (Named best folk group in Mexico by the union of music and theatre critics)giving many concerts and performances in respected halls and theatres ie Sydney Opera House. He performed for many celebrities including Queen Elizabeth II and King and Queen of Spain, as well as Placido Domingo and Linda Ronstad.
Victor is also a specialist in guitars of Latin America and percussions including conga, bongo, timbal, maracas. In Sydney he has performed in Government House and has given many workshops of the Mexican Jarocho Harp.
