Australian Citizens
and Permanent Residents
The University participates in the NSW and ACT Universities Admissions
Centre (UAC), which processes applications for admission to most
undergraduate tertiary institutions in NSW and the ACT. To apply
to one or more ANU programs you will need to indicate your preferences
on your UAC application. Applications for 2009 entry open in early
August by the method indicated below:
School Leavers apply on the UAC Infoline or via
the web; further information is provided to schools in August.
All other applicants Apply-By-Web, or by using
the application form (Form B) in the UAC Guide 2009, which can
be purchased from newsagents from early August or directly from
UAC or from other State tertiary admissions centres. UAC can be

The closing date for all applications through UAC is 30 September
2008. (Applications lodged after 30 September and before the final
closing date automatically attract a late fee.) Victorian applicants
must also apply through UAC.

AUDITION/INTERVIEW
In addition to submitting a UAC application
your must contact the Faculty of Arts office on +61 2 6125 2898 during
August-October to arrange an audition or interview. Further information
on audition requirements may also be obtained
from the Faculty Office. International students will either be interviewed
in their own countries, or assessed by submitting a quality audio/video
tape direct to the Faculty of Arts.
