Critical editions of Australian chamber music

Since 2002, Professor Larry Sitsky has worked with postgraduate students to locate, edit and produce critical editions of significant Australian music scores, many which, until their rediscovery, had been left unpublished and forgotten in music archives around the country. This remains the case for much music of Australia's older generations of composers, which is still in manuscript only, and thus lacks the possibility of performance, recording or study.

Importantly, the ongoing publication of these scores will enable the discovery of this music by today's performers and ultimately give the Australian public the opportunity to experience its musical past by its inclusion in concert programs.
