The School of Music hosted the 1st Festival of this kind in 2004, and it was such a success that the South Australian Harp Society offered to host a Festival in 2006, even bigger in scope. The 2008 Festival promises to follow in this tradition, serving as a biennial meeting, exhibition and inspiration for harpists from all over Australia and the Pacific Region.

We look forward to welcoming you to Canberra for a weekend full of wonderful concerts, master classes, competitions and shared friendships, with a dazzling array of harps and all the things a harpist needs....
