The ANU School of Music is the hub of musical activity in the nation’s capital. The School is located on the beautiful campus of The Australian National University, which has resonated with the sound of music for almost thirty years. The splendid Llewellyn Hall has seen some of the greatest names in the musical world perform on its illustrious stage.

The School is a synthesis in which performers, musician scholars, composers, researchers, teachers and the musical public meet to listen, perform, create, discuss and be energised through the wonderful world that is music. It is a place of energy and vitality, where the music of the past mingles with the cutting-edge innovations of the future.

The great strength of the School lies in the extraordinary talent and diversity of its staff, their outstanding performances, research and creativity in communicating their consummate understanding and passionate involvement in music to their students, the musical public of the Australian Capital Territory and beyond.
