They forgot the .au... as usual.
This had already been clarified (I had hoped) in previous posts, but
anyway... Clairview will be a telehoused customer at connect.com.au,
and after their system is developed will offer an optional filtered
service to those of our customers who choose to take it.
It has not even been installed or developed yet, so "trials" have
certainly not begun, and it may be some time before it is a mature
product.
Our CEO, John Stuckey, wrote to Senator Alston before the Bill was
passed (and the letter was CC'd to these lists) that Connect did not
endorse the product, had not tested it, and that no decisions about
potential technology for enforcing the Bill should be based upon the
"enthusiastic" sales efforts of the Clairview organisation.
