Mr Fahey has been moved to endorse CSC's efforts in outsourcing
Customs and the Electoral Commission.

ELECTION TECHNOLOGY SHOWS OUTSOURCING SUCCESS

The successful supply of information technology infrastructure to
the Australian Electoral Commission for the recent Federal Election
is an excellent example of successful IT Outsourcing.

The Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) outsourced its information
technology infrastructure requirements to CSC as part of the group
of Commonwealth agencies known as ‘Cluster 3’ in March 1998....
