Some relevant parts of the Australian Direct Marketing Association code of
conduct, including the electronic commerce bits, are now on the web at:
http://www.firstpr.com.au/issues/tm/
While this is mainly a resource page for privacy advocates provided by Robin
Whittle, it is actually the only place where you can see any of the Code online.
It's a bit of a disappointment that ADMA or the ACCC haven't put a copy
anywhere on their sites. "Interested parties" are permitted by law (S90 TPA)
to make comments on the Code and to demand a public conference to discuss
the Code with the ACCC. I imagine there might be more than a few "interested
parties" on Link - and maybe you can spread the word to others.
