WHAT ME WORRY?
Bill Gates has disengaged himself from Microsoft's defence against a
government antitrust action to concentrate on the future, according to the
New York Times which published details of a 10,000-word memo sent to staff
recently. In it, Bill says the PC will remain the main platform from
which Microsoft can extend into mainframes and handheld devices, with the
Net binding these various products into a whole via "Megaserver" which
can store vast amounts of data for access. See
