What is the advantage of running with words which are greater than say 32 bits?
Is it just the ability to directly access address space, or is there something
else I don't know about or don't understand?
Personally, I can imagine owning a PC in the future which has less address
space than my present PC, and rarely uses the hard-disk.
I only need this stuff because I lack permanent high-speed links to where the
information can be stored and processed elsewhere in the world.
