I have been organising an ISDN connection with Telstra. I filed my
application a few weeks ago and received a call from Telstra this morning.
Get ready for this: they don't have any B-mux availability in my exchange
and they don't feel justified in adding capacity just for me!
So, it's impossible for me to get ISDN. And they don't seem to bothered
by the fact. Here I am, ready to shell out the cash and they don't want
to know about it.
Now I know how people in the outback feel about their telephone service.
