Like it or not, beside SE Asia, Malaysia is also the moving force
in the Trade in the UN South-South coalition. The annual rotation
of the chair of the UN General Assembly falls to Malaysia this year.
I've also mentioned before that the 10 Gigabit per sec fiber optic
cable from London to Tokyo passes through Malaysia, bypassing Singapore.
