This thread is starting to overlap quite badly, but I think there is a
general consensus that the UN's work in this field is largely misunderstood
and too low profile. But I won't pass judgment until after Melbourne. The

The UNCITRAL work on a model law for electronic commerce doesn't seem to be
online. Jenny Clift at fed AGs has all the documentation. I will try to
contact her and ask about a web address, or maybe they could put it on the
AG's site.
