Hello Ramin

I'm interested to hear about this framework. Was it developed by www.consult? What is its availability? I have always been interested by what you guys are doing. We have been working on options and process for for a far more simplistic framework, for only one industry. We have found basic needs for integration and backward compatibility (eg. no credit card or PO/invoice required and goods received before check can be drawn) with the existing culture as the single largest barrier. The range of technical options only account for a proportion of the way transactions are currently done. Finding a system which allows the integration, from the merchants point of view, of as many flexible payment systems will support small business to be able to slowly cross the bridge to electronic commence.

The high level discussions in EC I have seen, require a distance from the routine of daily commerce to enable those involved to "see the bigger picture" and take in the complex interactions of many players. The paradox is that attention to the mundane process and the slow pace of change is needed. It will probably mean the creation "Bridging" technologies and processes that from their outset are neither the best nor have a long life span.

So I suppose the question is, does a framework articulate the potential opportunities, or does it provide a structure which enables the humble beginning and flexible options. There will always be many more new opportunities for wealth creation than I think anyone can determine. (But its a good idea to have figured some out ;)
