If anyone has any influence, it would be terrific if the peak bodies
included more non-interested [economically] people in them. We called
them citizen advisory boards in the US. Naturally those who had a
knowledge or a vested interest were involved also, but common ordinary
folk were involved as well, perhaps with a different view on the issue
[nay-sayers, skeptics], and those with different but related skills -
[accountants in an environmental group for example], and those who would
be expected to be the receivers of the service, rather than the regulation
- [students on education groups was the latest move in that direction].
