The UN has been doing a lot of work in electronic commerce, especially in
the Asia Pacific region through the Trade Point and SEAL programmes. (And I
think Glen mentioned the UNCITRAL Model Law on Electonic Commerce
initiative). The Melbourne conference (30 and 31 October) will have 1000
attendees. I am not sure how this has ended up being so low profile...
Anyway, how many Linkers will be there? I will be there and promise to
report the highlights.
