SA Election and lobbying

For those South Australian subscribers to these lists, of course others
might also be interested.

I have created a page at the South Australian Internet Association web site
( http://www.saia.asn.au/lobbying ) which is the start of a guide to help
people, particularly those using the Internet or making a living out of the
Internet, lobby our politicians. It is particularly relevant at this time
given that we face the election next Saturday.

At this site you will see the response from the 3 "major" parties
concerning their awareness and willingness to use the new technology in
this state which has, theoretically, an aim to promote excellence in its
use of the "new technology" in this upcoming election. To say its somewhat
disappointing to me, is to be a master of the art of understatement!

The questions were:

Do you have a web site for south australia?

Will you use it during the election campaign? That means both putting
information out there **and ** promoting its existence.

How many of your candidates use email?

How many have web sites?

How many will use their web site during the campaign?

What is your policy on IT Industries in south australia?

What is your policy on Internet Regulation and censorship?

Any comments about future content for this activity?

Cheers
brenda
