Perfect. I use Macs for editing video and testing lots of internet
capable devices. Both MacOS 9 and X are well equipped for quickly
changing network settings depending on devices, location etc.
Built-in firewire, USB and infrared interfaces on this Powerbook make
daily use of peripherals very easy.
The apps are reliable these days, and to me their integration with
the OS is much better. Apple's own iMovie, iTunes and iPhoto provide
powerful functionality in a very well designed, simple user
interface. Great for both new users and "pros".
With every new virus or net vulnerability I'm often grateful for
avoiding microsoft products on my servers and workstations.
